Influenster Paradise VoxBox 2013: NYC Sparkle Eye Dust

I recently received the Paradise VoxBox from Influenster and was very pleased to see the NYC Sparkle Eye Dust in Smokey Topaz in the package. I while back I saw a tutorial on Beauty Broadcast using the shadow in a look and I loved what Emily did with it so much that I wanted to try it.

The color has a nice shimmer to it without being too glittery and it's close to a dusty rose color.

 

In the look I created I used the NYC Sparkle Eye Dust all over the lid. To complete the eye look  I used  the Rimmel London Glam Eyes Quad in Dark Signature.

I always use eyeshadow primer before using any shadow to help with longevity. I must say I was pleased with how long wearing the NYC Sparkle Eye Dust was. It looked just as good by the end of the day as it did when I applied it. I love the color and this will definitely be an item I reach for time and time again. The only warning I have to so be careful when pulling the wand out. It's a little flakey and you could end up with a mess.
